Children's craft, held to a higher standard
Perle & Play™ began at a kitchen table, with a birthday, a stack of plastic craft kits and the feeling that children deserve better objects than that.
Less screen time. More masterpiece time.
We wanted a kit that looked as considered as the gift wrap around it — something a parent would be glad to hand over and a child would be proud to finish. So we started with the object: hand-cast plaster shapes with enough detail to reward a careful brush, and enough forgiveness for a four-year-old in a hurry.
Then we designed everything around it. A palette per collection, chosen so any combination looks intentional. An ivory box that needs no wrapping. A story card that gives the painting a world to live in.
